Peter Charles
Diekman
Director
Charlie was a semi-professional sailor racing
the famous 18ft skiffs on Sydney Harbour in the
late
eighties. Around the sailing he worked for a
lock distribution company. It was in this latter
capacity
he saw
enormous potential in the security industry,
especially for a company willing to offer complete
security solutions.
Accordingly, he bought BNS Security in 1988,
a locksmith business in Darlinghurst,
and
steadily
grew it in to the multi disciplined
service business it is today. Along the way Charlie
learned security from a practical, hands on
approach,
seeing and understanding how people broke into
premises and hence advising clients how to protect
their
properties.
Fifteen years in the industry makes Charlie one
of Sydney’s leading security consultants,
managing the security affairs of some of Australia’s
largest high-risk clients. Whilst most consultants
are experts in a single area Charlie is a master
at locking mechanisms, access control, key systems,
CCTV and steel hardware. |

in 1998 after solid stints in both management
consultancy and industrial relations within the
trade union movement. His focus to date has
been
implementing the systems and processes to ensure
KINGS operate from a solid base and continue
to
grow.
Peter quickly had to learn the industry and today
has a good command of the products and systems
available in order to provide sound security
advice to the large client base KINGS continues
to build. |
