Security Monitoring
KINGS Security offers the full range of back to base security monitoring services tailored to suit your needs.
A recent review of Australian Standards AS/NZS 2201.5 has brought about new standards for alarm transmission methods and KINGS Security offers alternatives for each Class. You should always check with your insurance company that your level of monitoring service is adequate for your policy.
Multipath IP Monitoring Class 3, 4 or 5
The latest technology in security monitoring is Multipath IP. There are 4 available communication paths - IP, GPRS, GSM and PSTN for alarm reporting. Multipath STUs can be set up to report on some or all of these technologies using a redundancy system (if one fails it will go to the next option) and the frequency of polling (testing communication path) can be programmed to suit the level of security you require. The Multipath STU is a direct replacement for Securitel. Please contact KINGS Security to discuss your needs.
Dialler Monitoring Class 1 or 2
Your security system is connected to your telephone line to transmit alarm signals back to base via a dialler modem. Each time the security system communicates a signal back to base you incur the cost of a local phone call. As the communication is one way this is generally considered a low to moderate level of monitoring.
GSM Backup Class 1 or 2
As with dialler monitoring your security system is connected to your telephone line to transmit signals back to base via dialler modem, and the addition of a GSM back up unit offers an alternate route via the GSM network. This is generally considered a low to moderate level of monitoring.
Securitel Monitoring
This service, provided in conjunction with Telstra is obsolete and will cease to function as of December 2009. The replacement KINGS recommends for this is Multipath IP. Please contact KINGS Security for further information and pricing.
Alarm Response & Mobile Patrol Service
To enhance your security alarm monitoring, KINGS Security offers an alarm response service to attend your premises in the event of an alarm. A uniformed security officer will conduct a thorough external check of the premises and provide a report either immediately or if preferred a report left on site if no security breach is found. If an internal inspection is required keys to your premises can be held and the alarm system reset on attendance.
Mobile Patrols
For additional security measures KINGS Security can also offer a mobile patrol service, providing unformed security officers to patrol your premises at random intervals to deter would be intruders. Mobile Patrols are available as a temporary or permanent arrangement.
